New Rules

ABA will be adopting the new NBA take foul rule.

A 'take foul' is any intentional foul committed by a defender to deprive the offensive team of a fast-break opportunity.

Penalty is 1 free throw to any player on the floor and then possession in the front court.

The 'take foul' rule does not apply in the last 2 minutes of the game.

Technical Fouls (Disqualification)

Any technical foul deemed non behavioral will not form part of the criteria for disqualification.
