IMPORT PLAYERS

Import Player Rule

Any player who can not provide heritage documentation to be considered a “FIBA Asia player” will fall into the ABA Import player category. 

ABA Imports are eligible to play in all ABA Divisions and must play a minimum of 9 games during the regular season to qualify. (the import player must play a minimum of 1 second of game time to receive 1 game qualification)

Teams are restricted to ONE import on court during games. Teams can play multiple imports throughout the season.
